About

Shave is a Utrecht graffiti writer active since the mid-1980s. His work developed across walls, trains, sketches and blackbooks, with lettering and a strong personal visual language remaining central throughout his practice. He is also a member of W.O.W. crew, formed between Amsterdam and Utrecht in 1989.

For Ruyzdael Publishing, Shave created Shave’s Cut — Cult. Need. & Dedication., a visual autobiography built from his own archive and work. He also contributed text to Catalogue of Unsolved Crimes.
