Boris Delta Tellegen

About

Boris Tellegen, also known as Delta, began writing graffiti in the 1980s and became known internationally for his three-dimensional approach to lettering. Alongside his graffiti practice he studied Industrial Design Engineering at TU Delft. His work later expanded into collage, sculpture, painting and installation, while retaining a strong interest in structure, space and the tension between order and chaos.

For Ruyzdael Publishing, Tellegen authored Side Tracks, based on his long-running freight train project, photographed the Amsterdam metro tunnel with Aldo van den Broek for Tunnel Vision, and contributed a track to Writers on Wax — The Sound of Graffiti Volume 2.
