Rariteitenkabinet markeert een nieuw hoofdstuk binnen het werk van Duvel en brengt 15 nieuwe tracks samen, gedragen door producties van RayTheBarbarian en Ballantyne Beats.
Typisch a-typisch Duvel: scherpe teksten, droge humor en onverwachte wendingen,
balancerend tussen persoonlijke geschiedenis en maatschappelijk commentaar.
De plaat beweegt vrij tussen klassieke hardcore hiphop en invloeden uit andere genres,
als een zorgvuldig samengesteld rariteitenkabinet. Een deel van het album is al te beluisteren binnen de installatie Rariteitenkabinet, gepresenteerd in het kader van de tentoonstelling Hip Hop Is in het Groninger Museum.
Waar verhalen normaal op papier landen, krijgen ze hier vorm in vinyl.
Ruyzdael Publishing treedt op als label en uitgever.
Gelimiteerde editie vinyl en een speciale editie. 380 grams buitenhoes (plain), 200 grams binnenhoes. Dat is heavy. De speciale editie wordt gecustomized, gesigneerd en genummerd van 1-100. Door de handmatige touch is elk exemplaar van de speciale editie uniek.
De hoes is, zoals vanouds, ontworpen door Undog.

A new album as a collection.
Rariteitenkabinet marks a new chapter in the work of Duvel, bringing together 15 new tracks produced by Ray the Barbarian and Mr. Ballantyne.
Typically a-typical Duvel: sharp lyrics, dry humor and unexpected turns,
moving between personal history and social commentary. The record shifts freely between classic hardcore hip hop and influences from other genres, assembled like a carefully curated cabinet of curiosities. Part of the album can already be heard within the Rariteitenkabinet installation, presented as part of the exhibition Hip Hop Is at the Groninger Museum.
The language is Dutch. The impact is not. It’s music that may not translate, but it resonates, vibrates and hits the gut all the same.
Where stories are usually published on paper, they take shape here in vinyl. Ruyzdael Publishing operates as label and publisher.
Limited edition vinyl and a special edition.

The special edition is customized, signed, and numbered from 1–100.
